At MNK Publication, we are staunch advocates of the open access model, driven by our belief that scholarly knowledge should be freely accessible to all. Open access ensures that readers can access published material without any subscription fees, allowing our articles to be available immediately upon publication. This model ensures that researchers, students, and interested individuals worldwide can promptly access the latest research findings.

By distributing all content under a Creative Commons open access license, we facilitate further use and dissemination, empowering researchers to build on each other's work without barriers.

Our operations are funded through article processing charges (APCs), paid by authors and their institutions. These charges cover essential costs such as managing the peer review process, professional copy-editing, and promoting published research. MNK Publication relies solely on these APCs for revenue, maintaining our commitment to open access.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Editor-in-Chief (EiC):

• Manages overall journal activities.
• Recommends editors and initiates peer reviews.
• Promotes the journal to libraries and conferences.

Managing Editor:

• Oversees submission, peer-review, and issue production.
• Supports the production process from acceptance to publication.
• Coordinates with Guest Editors on special issues.
• Assists authors from submission to publication.

Associate Editor-in-Chief (AEiC):

• Provides additional advice to editors.
• Selects reviewers and summarizes reviews for the EiC to make final decisions.

Editorial Board Member (EBM):

• Conducts peer reviews.
• Promotes the journal through library subscriptions and calls for papers.

Editorial Responsibilities:

• Editors have full authority to accept or reject articles.
• Responsible for content quality and academic integrity.
• Must consider the needs of authors and readers.
• Guarantee paper quality and publish corrections when needed.
• Ensure research conforms to ethical guidelines.
• Base decisions on the paper’s importance, originality, clarity, and relevance.
• Preserve reviewer anonymity in half-blind reviews.
• Act on suspected misconduct with proof and pursue resolution.
