Abstract

A series of quinazolin-4(1H)-ones have been synthesized in excellent yields and short rection time by one-pot reaction using of isatoic anhydride, ammonium acetate and aldehydes under microwave irradiation in water. The reaction was efficiently promoted by 0.09 g trichlorotriazine (TCT).
