Abstract

A brief theoretical analysis of the spectrum sensing via energy detection for Cognitive Radio is done. A special case of one spot multiple-time cumulative sensing under Rayleigh fading environment is considered in detail and simulated. The obtained results are as follows: probabilities of detection Pd>0.9, Pm=Pf =0.1, signal-to-noise ratio SNRï‚£ 0 dB, number of samples Mï‚»1000.

Key Words
Cognitive Radio, multiple energy detection, cumulative sensing of spectrum, simulations
